Feature Interview:

Rethinking Schools Founder Bob Peterson.

In the 1980s Bob Peterson and his teaching colleagues were looking for social justice teaching materials.  There weren’t many out there in the commercial curriculum market.  No Problem!  Get a kitchen table, Apple IIe, and rubber cement and create a social justice newsletter.  30 + years later and Rethinking Schools is the premiere publisher, journal, and go to web site for teachers looking to ditch the script and dig deep into social justice issues.

In this interview I talk to Bob about the origins, the current state, and the future of Rethinking Schools.

And of course Your Moment of Zinn.
