More students, less money

The long term effect of the political pull to the right is becoming more evident. The Republicans have gotten more crazy and extreme in their views, and the centrist Democrats have moved to the right in an attempt to look more rational- while selling off the party. But what do we end up with? Things like tax cuts wherein schools become the losers, continually being underfunded in a deliberate attempt to kill public education.

And then the schools are sold to charter chains….
